Why volunteer at Wet Nose

Volunteering at Wet Nose is both fun and rewarding! Although adopting a dog is the best way to help Wet Nose, there are many other ways to help our animals.

Since we don’t put animals down, some of our animals stay at Wet Nose for some time before they find a home. Although they get to play in exercise runs and are taken for walks by our staff, they’re always happy to see the volunteers who walk them, play with them, groom them, and provide extra tender loving care.

Furthermore, we often have volunteers who like to get their hands dirty; they have the opportunity to help clean kennels and stables or even assist with pop-up adoption events.

Volunteering is a great way to gain experience working with animals, meet new people, or give back to the community. Become part of the Wet Nose family, come along, and try it – you’ll love it, and so will the animals.

Children under 16 will have to be accompanied by an adult.
